Foundation Day of St. Francis College of Davao Inc.

Today marked the 11th Foundation Day. A day etched with history as we celebrate the birthday of our beloved SFCDI.

There are important reasons why we always spare and set aside time amidst our busy school days. Here they are:

1. Be reminded of our history. Schools celebrate its foundation day to be reminded of how and why the school was formed. St. Francis College of Davao Inc. was established 11 years ago because of the kind heart of its founder Mrs. Sergia Estante who initially wished and continually aspires to bring forth access to quality education among those deserving students who wish to study in a private school. The founder together with the school's board of trustees made initiative and effort after a series of brainstorming, and that's how SFCDI began.

2. Be reminded of our school's vision and mission. St. Francis College of Davao Inc., together with its competent and committed teachers and staff, makes every possible way to produce competitive graduates. We help student to excel holistically not only academically.

3. To celebrate and honor the achievements of the school. We reflect on the early days of the school and how far we have grown as a school community.

Let us then not forget of how the school grew from its infancy until now and the following years to come. All of us will continually soar to our future. Let me quote from our school song, "...You're bound to guide our way. Dearest school, our pride, bestow to us your glowing light."
